Which Production Route Fits Your Order?
The figures below are starting guidelines, not one MOQ for every package. Compare the same dimensions, material structure, artwork and quantity before choosing a printing method.
Digital Printing
1,000–3,000 pieces recommended for suitable projects. Useful for new products, smaller quantities and multiple artwork designs.
No gravure cylinder fee. Pouch size, material and application must be suitable for digital production; specialist formats follow separate rules.
Approx. 8–10 working days After artwork, specifications and order arrangements are confirmed. Shipping is additional.
Gravure Printing
A common starting point for suitable standard pouches. Compare larger repeat orders, particularly around 40,000+ pieces.
Stable artwork and repeat volume can help spread cylinder costs. Size, material usage, colors and the quantity per design affect the quotation.
New cylinders: approx. 7–9 working days Then approximately 15–20 days for production. Final timing is confirmed with the order; shipping is additional.
Printed Rollstock
A weight-based starting guideline, not a pouch-count MOQ. Smaller trials need a separate feasibility and cost review.
Send the machine type, web width, print repeat, winding direction, core size and maximum roll diameter for specification review.
Project-specific production schedule Confirm the film structure, printing requirements and machine specifications before production.
Special formats have their own MOQ
Do not apply the general ~100-piece digital or ~10,000-piece gravure guideline to every pouch.

Confirm the food product, retort conditions and pouch specifications separately.
Stock bag overprinting: selected stock bags can start around 200 pieces, with 1,000+ recommended. Available sizes, structures and print options depend on inventory.
Flat bottom pouches: digital is usually practical at 1,000–2,000 pieces; from around 3,000, compare the economics of a gravure order. This is a comparison point, not a guaranteed gravure MOQ.
Small stick packs generally favor gravure around 30,000+ pieces. All quantities and schedules remain subject to the approved specification. Matching boxes and specialist projects are quoted separately.

Can I get samples before a production order?
Stock and historical samples are free, with shipping paid by the customer. Customer-design digital samples typically cost USD 50–70 per piece. Samples with special finishes such as UV or hot stamping typically cost USD 100–150 per piece.
For qualifying gravure bulk orders of at least 20,000 pieces per design, the sample fee can be refunded in full. Sample options and eligibility are confirmed for the specific packaging project.
Can you help with pouch size, materials and artwork?
Yes. Share the product, fill weight or volume, target shelf life, storage conditions and filling method. We can help review dimensions, material structure and artwork layout. A sample or fill test may be needed; final dimensions, materials and artwork are confirmed before production.
Can I fill premade pouches without an automatic packing machine?
Yes. Suitable premade pouches can be filled manually or with compatible pouch-filling equipment, then sealed by the customer. Printed rollstock requires compatible forming, filling and sealing equipment. The opening, seal format and filling process must be confirmed for the selected package.
Does one test report cover every pouch and food product?
No. Food-contact test reports apply to the specified samples, materials, test methods and conditions. The required documentation must be checked against your product, material structure, filling or processing conditions and destination market. One sample report does not establish compliance for every packaging product.
Can you supply matching printed boxes?
Yes. We can coordinate printed boxes with pouches, sachets or stick packs. Share the filled pack dimensions, number of packs per box, box style and artwork. Boxes have separate quotations, minimum quantities and production schedules; pouch MOQs do not automatically apply.
What should I send for an accurate packaging quote?
Send the product, fill weight or volume, packaging format, dimensions, order quantity, number of designs, artwork status, filling method and delivery destination. For liquids, include filling temperature and storage requirements. For rollstock, include machine and roll specifications. Tell us whether matching boxes are needed.
